BOOK YOUR SHIPMENT
We've pre-populated suggested ship-to and ship-from locations (simply click the arrow next to the "where are you shipping to" field) and suggested shipping dates.
We suggest that you ship your bike to the Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco prior to the event and from the Bike Center Santa Monica afterward. In between, you can ship your empty bike box or case between those locations. Make sure to schedule a pick up for your empty case or box for Monday, September 23 at Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf. If you ship your empty bike box or case to the Bike Center Santa Monica, they will bring it to the finish line for you.
At the start, bike mechanics will be available at the Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf on Friday from 12 noon to assemble and/or fix bikes. Bike assembly is $25.00 payable to mechanics (cash).
At the finish, the Bike Center Santa Monica will be onsite to pack bikes for $60. Your bikes will be packed and shipped within five days of the end of the event. It will ship out once packed per the shop's scheduled labor.
All registered riders will receive detailed logistical information from organizers.
You do not have to ship your bike to our suggested location on our suggested dates; you may ship instead to your hotel, a friend's house, a partner carrier holding location or another local bike shop. You may also manually enter different ship dates to better suit your itinerary. You are responsible for getting your bike to/from these locations and assembling and disassembling it or getting help from a local shop. Please note that if you ship your bike to yourself in care of any partner carrier location, you will have to present an ID when picking it up there.
You can pack your bike yourself or hire a shop from our bike shop finder to pack your bike for you.If you need a box or case, check out our store. We’ll pick up your packed bike up from your house or your local bike shop,or you can drop it off at one of our partner carrier locations.
