The Denver Post Ride The Rockies is celebrating its 34th anniversary in 2019. Two thousand cyclists will spend seven days in June pedaling through historic and unique communities in Colorado's beautiful Rocky Mountains. Starting and finishing in Crested Butte, riders will be treated to majestic mountain scenery all week. The 2019 route features great highs with climbs including Monarch, Independence and McClure Passes and wonderful lows meandering through both the Gunnison and Roaring Fork Valleys.
Ride The Rockies is a non-competitive event open to cyclists of all ages and participants are encouraged to ride at their own pace. Riders in past Ride The Rockies have represented all 50 states and 18 foreign countries.
Proceeds from Ride The Rockies benefit The Denver Post Community Foundation. All funds raised are returned directly to Colorado nonprofits.
